We offer lessons in 4 classes of dinghies: El Torros, Toppers, Lasers, and 420’s. Our well-preserved vintage dinghies can provide the most fun you’ve had in years.

We have 2 El torros, 8 toppers, 6 lasers, and 4 420’s.

Topper: Its unique polypropylene construction makes it virtually indestructible. It requires little maintenance, is easily rigged in a matter of minutes, is rugged and safe for beginners, and an exciting race boat too as your skills develop. It truly is the most versatile of sailboats.

Laser: The Laser is a highly popular family of small one-design sailing dinghies using the same common hull and interchangeable rigs with different sail areas. The Laser is designed to be sailed single-handed although it can be sailed with two sailors.

420: This class of boat is reserved for intermediate or expert level. The hull is fiberglass with internal buoyancy tanks. The 420 has spinnaker and trapeze capabilities. It is designed to plane easily. It can be rigged to be sailed single-handed or double-handed. This boat should not be capsized and is very hard to right.
