Support KSA’s mission: Teaching life skills through marine awareness. Your donation will help KSA achieve its many outreach and community goals such as:
Scholarships: To allow all our island keiki and adults access to ocean recreation and education, beach clean-ups, free community sailing, adult and youth sailing classes, marine biology classes and community outreach programs.
Marine Science Center: Kaua’i Sailing Association is in the process of creating a new Marine Science Center that will facilitate outdoor learning for children, and will eventually expand to include infrastructure for growing corals, a wet lab for analyzing samples, and educational aquariums. Our prime location on the water, centrally located in Lihue allows the island easy access to a valuable resource. The Kaua’i Marine Science Center will become a unique resource in providing hands-on educational opportunities and the ability for students and the community to see the direct impact of conservation at little or no cost. The space will be open to the public to view animals, tanks and educational materials on display. We will offer school excursions and extra-curricular programs for our youth, as well as educational opportunities for tourists to learn about what it means to be an ecologically responsible visitor.
KSA is passionate about providing our island keiki and community with a safe space to learn and are eager to leverage our assets to do so.
